Terms of Service

Welcome to Quova. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Quova platform (https://quova.ai) and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by JJLabsio ("we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

Quova is an AI Brand Intelligence platform that tracks how AI search engines describe and recommend your brand. The Service includes:

  • AI search visibility tracking across ChatGPT and Perplexity
  • Narrative analysis including sentiment, positioning, and context
  • Mention rate tracking and competitor comparison
  • Domain and source analysis
  • Citation source tracking

2. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account using Google OAuth. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service beyond its intended functionality
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service or its outputs without our prior written consent
  • Submit queries designed to manipulate or abuse the AI engines accessed through the Service

4. Subscriptions and Payment

4.1 Plans and Pricing

Quova offers subscription plans (including Starter and Pro tiers) with monthly and annual billing options. A free trial may be available for new users. Current pricing is displayed on our Pricing page.

4.2 Billing

All payments are processed through our third-party payment provider, Polar. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method at the applicable billing interval. Subscription fees are charged in advance.

4.3 Free Trial

If you sign up for a free trial, you may use the Service with limited features for the trial period. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service.

4.4 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Polar customer portal. Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.

4.5 Price Changes

We may change our pricing from time to time. If we change pricing for your current plan, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, documentation, and branding, is owned by JJLabsio and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand elements.

5.2 Your Data

You retain all rights to the brand information, search queries, and other content you provide to the Service ("Your Data"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process Your Data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

5.3 Service Outputs

Reports, analyses, mention rates, and other outputs generated by the Service ("Outputs") are provided for your internal business use. You may use Outputs in your business operations but may not resell them as a standalone product or service.

6. Third-Party Services

Quova integrates with third-party AI engines (including OpenAI and Perplexity) to provide its core functionality. Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms and policies of these third-party providers. We do not control and are not responsible for the output, accuracy, or availability of third-party AI engines.

7. Disclaimers

7.1 Service Provided "As Is"

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7.2 AI Output Accuracy

Quova retrieves and analyzes responses from third-party AI search engines. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. AI search results may change at any time, and analysis results reflect a point-in-time snapshot.

7.3 No Professional Advice

The Service provides informational insights and should not be considered as marketing, legal, or business advice. You should use your own judgment and consult with appropriate professionals when making business decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JJLabsio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through the account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion, with reasonable notice where practicable.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. All data associated with your account will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea. Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute through good-faith negotiation by contacting us at support@quova.ai.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through email or an in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and JJLabsio regarding the Service.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
  • Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
